Job Summary
Credit Officer II leads and manages a portfolio of asset-based lending clients within ABF, including analyzing client trends, negotiating and drafting loan documentation, and driving risk-adjusted growth. Oversees credit approvals, monitors performance, mentors junior associates, and maintains relationships with legal and financial partners. Requires experience in asset-based lending, strong credit and documentation skills, and ability to manage complex client relationships; some travel to meet clients.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in asset-based lending, commercial banking, or private credit
- Sound understanding of credit, transaction structuring, and financial and collateral analysis
- Detailed understanding of legal documentation
- Ability to draft concise, accurate and clear credit approvals with minimal oversight
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
