Credit Middle Office Analyst, Controls and Oversight

Job Summary
Monitor, review, and enhance control frameworks to ensure robust risk management and compliance across credit operations. Identify ownership to develop effective solutions that mitigate risk and support regulatory and internal policy adherence. Serve as the point of contact for audit coordination, control assessments, and the timely submission of Requests of Information for internal and external audits. Ensure governance over business operational risks by tracking issues and escalations, while overseeing credit legal documentation templates in liaison with internal and external legal teams. Support the development of Key Performance Indicators for credit operations and explore automation opportunities using Intelligent Automation tools such as Alteryx, Python, Unqork, and UiPath. Partner with stakeholders to drive operational excellence within the Private Banking business serving ultra-high net worth clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution
- Strong analytical skills with capability to use qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations
- Strong presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills
- High level of attention to detail with good time management
- Teamwork ethic and focus; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures
- Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with process mapping and control design
- Good understanding of Private Banking credit products, financial markets, and the securities industry
- Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Unqork, UiPath
