Job Summary
Monitor and analyze corporate default events across global credit markets by tracking issuer and transaction information from public filings, news sources, and market participants. Maintain and update proprietary credit market indices with accuracy and timeliness, supporting routine constituent reviews, periodic rebalancing activities, and quality control checks to ensure data integrity. Prepare reports and summaries related to default activity while communicating findings clearly to internal stakeholders and clients. Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing development of market-leading products used by leading institutional investors worldwide. This cyclical role involves busier periods around quarter-end and index rebalancing, requiring flexibility during peak times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience using the Bloomberg Terminal
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working with large datasets and market information
- Professional presence with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Strong interest in credit markets, leveraged finance, and private credit
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
