Job Summary
Credit Manager for Schewel Furniture Company overseeing accounts receivable and credit operations. Responsible for reviewing credit applications for approval, assigning and managing purchase limits for customers, processing financed contracts and cash sale invoices, processing payments, and collecting delinquent accounts via phone, skip tracing, or legal collections. Also oversees repossessions and the sale of repossessions. Requires leadership, self-motivation, and adherence to credit procedures and policies; strong customer and communication skills. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of college in business-related courses or two years of credit/collections experience preferred. Physical ability to lift 20 pounds.
