Job Summary
Lead Rexel Australia’s regional trade receivables credit portfolio and oversee credit operations, approvals, collections, and policy compliance. Guide and coach a Credit Officers team, partner with branches and sales to balance growth with risk, monitor debtor exposure and adjust credit limits, deliver analytics and KPI insights for senior management, manage cashflow reporting (DSO, unapplied cash, doubtful debt provisions), and drive process improvements across credit, AR, and customer workflows. Strong knowledge of credit legislation, ERP systems, data analysis, and negotiation, with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to balance customer service and risk in a national network.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a credit/receivables team
- Strong knowledge of credit policy and risk management
- Proven ability to improve cash collections and reduce bad debt
- Experience with ERP platforms and data analytics
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to deliver KPI reporting and dashboards for senior management
- Compliance with credit legislation and processes
