Job Summary
Join our client as a Credit Manager overseeing the credit granting process and collaborating with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure timely collections. Candidates must be willing to travel between Oahu and the Big Island and are required to work primarily on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management, credit analysis, or accounts receivable
- Strong knowledge of credit risk evaluation, financial statement analysis, and collection practices
- Proficient in computer software, Excel spreadsheets, and word documents
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with trade credit insurance and international credit evaluation
- Experience in wholesale or manufacturing industries
Additional Requirements
- Requires the ability to work at least two Saturdays a month
- May involve extended hours during critical reporting periods or customer escalations
