Job Summary
Investigate customer invoice queries against defined policies and administer credit notes where applicable. Proactively contact customers via telephone and email to secure payment commitments and ensure invoices are paid to agreed terms. Manage the accounts receivable ledger and handle inbound calls and emails related to these areas, engaging with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Relationship Management, and Finance to meet quality standards and timescales. Complete ad hoc tasks as required while adhering to training schedules and productivity metrics. This role supports DPD's goal of being the UK's most sustainable delivery company, offering funded training, study leave, and a career progression path within a £2 billion turnover business.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE/Level 2 in Maths
- GCSE/Level 2 in English
- pass at GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English
- Completion of a Level 3 Business Admin qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with Google Workspace (GMail/GSheet)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office package (Word and Excel primarily)
- Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work
- An individual who has the ability to welcome and adapt to change, within a forward thinking business
