Job Summary
Monitor credit limits and exposure while processing trade drawdowns and maintaining accurate credit files and documentation. Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures, and prepare credit reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate on data analysis and process improvement initiatives using SQL, Python, Activepieces, and Gemini to enhance workflow efficiency and risk insights. Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the credit team.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and preferably G-Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in credit analysis and risk management
Desired Qualifications
- Prior internship or work experience in finance or banking
- Knowledge of financial markets, accounting principles, and credit risk concepts
- Basic proficiency or familiarity with SQL for data querying and Python for automation or data manipulation
- Demonstrable interest in optimizing workflows; experience or academic projects involving automation tools (like Activepieces, Zapier, or similar)
- Awareness of generative AI capabilities (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) and how they can be applied to document summarization or report generation
- A strong curiosity about the digital lending landscape and how technology can solve credit risk challenges
