Job Summary
Credit Control Supervisor role leading end-to-end collections for a customer portfolio; coach and develop Credit Control team members to hit targets; act as escalation point for complex queries and disputes; resolve payment disputes timely; review and improve credit control processes; collaborate with internal departments to strengthen customer relationships and minimise payment delays; hybrid role with 3 days remote and 2 days in office (Thu/Fri) in Birmingham; 37.5 hours/week; 5+ years in credit control leadership and strong Excel/finance system skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years previous experience in a Credit Control Team Leader, Senior Credit Controller, or supervisory credit control role
- Strong understanding of credit control and debt recovery processes
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
- Results-driven with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Hands on, high impact role where you'll manage your own portfolio while acting as a senior escalation point and supporting a team of Credit Controllers to stay on track
