Job Summary
Lead and shape the credit control function within a UK head office finance team. Responsibilities include standardising and refining credit control processes, managing debt to minimise overdue payments, approving/denying credit applications, sharing best practices with credit controllers across the business, responding to client queries to maintain satisfaction, and negotiating payment plans. The role also involves acting as manager for the credit control administrator, with a focus on reducing Days Sales Outstanding and ensuring robust credit risk management. Requires proven experience in leading credit controller responsibilities, team leadership, strong customer service, negotiation, attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to explain financial matters to diverse stakeholders. Hybrid working arrangement in Ashby, Leicestershire, UK.
