Job Summary
Credit Controller for B2B credit accounts responsible for managing outstanding balances, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining healthy cash flow. Duties include conducting credit checks, establishing credit limits, debt recovery, payment reconciliation, dispute resolution, and generating regular reports on outstanding debts and credit-control KPIs. Role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and 3+ years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable, with strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and Excel/ERP software skills. Preference for candidates with travel-domain experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Strong negotiation abilities to manage difficult conversations and resolve payment disputes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing financial records
- Customer-focused approach with balance between enforcing payment terms and maintaining good client relationships
- Preference: added advantage from travel domain
