Credit & Collections Analyst (with Spanish)

Job Summary
Credit and Collections Analyst role focused on managing Accounts Receivable for FMC's EMEA operations from Cork. Responsibilities include conducting credit risk assessments, managing collections, engaging with customers, and performing cash forecasting. Partner with regional commercial and finance teams to mitigate financial risk and support business performance. Key duties: monitor AR ageing, issue statements, follow up on overdue balances, execute collections with professional communication and negotiated payment plans, resolve billing/pricing/dispute issues, reconcile cash payments and support remittance analysis, deliver monthly/quarterly AR reporting with SOX controls, lead governance calls, and contribute to continuous improvement within AR. Required skills include English and Spanish fluency, strong financial analysis, Excel proficiency, ERP experience (preferably SAP), and strong communication and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in credit, collections, credit control, or a finance-related role
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid MS Office skills
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a customer-focused, cross-functional environment
- Finance qualification or equivalent experience is preferred
