Job Summary
Evaluate credit risk for all customers, establish credit conditions, and analyze overall exposure. Manage orders on hold and customer accounts exceeding credit limits while performing debt collection activities. Coordinate reactive and proactive credit control, identify root causes of debt collection issues, and escalate problems to execute strategies for recovering unpaid amounts. Perform administrative and analytical assignments. This role supports Franklin Electric's mission to empower communities with sustainable water management solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in credit & collections, accounting, or a related field
- customer service focus that builds and enhances positive relationships within the organization and with external parties
- Ability to deal with conflict effectively and be able to challenge the business when necessary
- Understands basic accounting and mathematical concepts and is able to perform related analyses, including financial statement analysis
