Credit Collection Senior Analyst

Job Summary
Deliver Credit and Collections management services to SBO per Service Level Agreements, reviewing AR ageing reports, performing collection and dunning, and escalating follow-up actions. Manage blocked sales orders related to overdue accounts, assess new customer and portfolio credit risks, and implement ad-hoc reviews of credit data. Exercise delegated credit authorization to evaluate customer risk and make informed decisions while balancing commercial objectives and financial risk. Contribute to periodic reviews of credit policy, guidelines, and the operational framework, and support monthly or quarterly credit committee activities through portfolio performance analysis. Investigate operational issues, coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers for timely resolution, and lead process optimization and automation initiatives. Ensure compliance with Sanofi policies, SOX requirements, and local regulations while maintaining robust governance through accurate documentation and audit support.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Japanese and English
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Finance/Accounting sector
- Capable of assessing, analysing and validating complex financial information
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting and credit principles, systems and procedures
- Familiar with matrix organization

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel and powerpoint

- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous working experience in Accounting / Finance especially in a shared services environment is an added advantage especially in a pharmaceutical environment
- Lean/Six Sigma exposure or equivalent
- Working experience with SAP, specifically FICO
- SAP Application Interface framework modules
- Previous use of an Optical character recognition solution
- Understanding of shared services technologies such as scanning and imaging, case management tools, KPI monitoring and reporting
- China (Mandarin) Functional Skills
