Job Summary
Process customer credit applications by phone, mail, or in-person, pulling credit bureau reports and filing documents in the Central Credit system. Maintain accurate guest credit files, record data for approval, and post returned checks to finance. Assist cashiers with credit-related problems, verify cashier checks with banks, and answer guest inquiries while ensuring thoroughness in departmental records. Work a 24-hour schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays in a casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to operate computers, fax machines and calculators
- Good clerical and office skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to independently maintain high levels of productivity
- Numbers-oriented and computer-literate
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with employees throughout all levels of the Mount Airy Casino Resort
- Valid license as required by the PA Gaming Control Board
- Ability to deal affectively and interact well with guests and employees
- Demonstrate leadership, fairness and sensibility to the guests and employees
- Ability to work long hours within a smoking environment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino for long periods of time
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure
- Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment and engage in light lifting
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to respond to visual and aural cues
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required with occasional travel
- Favorable outcome of a background investigation
- Pass a drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area
