Job Summary
Lead Data Owner within the Credit Card team responsible for defining and executing the strategy for product data to support business objectives, analytics, and reporting. Responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing critical data, documenting metadata for clear meaning and control, and ensuring data governance across multiple stakeholders; develop processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks including protection, retention, and destruction; maintain strong relationships with product, data delivery partners, and data consumers; demonstrate governance through KPI planning, prioritization, and tracking; manage and mentor a team of Data Owners; require Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of data-related experience; proficiency with SQL and Python and understanding of Agile methodologies. The role emphasizes data quality, protection, and strategic use of data within the Consumer and Community Bank Credit Card product area and collaboration with senior leaders across lines of business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of industry experience in a data-related field
- Data querying and manipulation using SQL and Python
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred
- Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modelling, and data architecture preferred
- Deep subject matter expertise in Credit Card area preferred
- Experience with SQL, Python
- Agile methodology experience
- Leadership experience managing teams
