Job Summary
Credit & Collections Supervisor responsible for leading and optimizing the credit and collections function across a diverse portfolio including commercial, military, and government contract customers. Oversees a team of professionals, sets KPIs, monitors performance, and drives cash flow optimization while mitigating risk. Requires deep expertise in credit risk management, collections strategy, and financial analysis within transportation, logistics, or maritime contexts, and proficiency with ERP and financial reporting tools. The role partners with operations, finance, and commercial teams to align credit strategies with business objectives and ensures compliance with GAAP and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of credit and collections experience
- 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience managing complex receivables portfolios, including government and contract-based customers
- Background in transportation, logistics, or maritime industries
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, AR processes, and financial analysis
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
