Job Summary
Credit Analyst for Farm Credit of Central Florida HQ in Lakeland. Analyze and evaluate financial statements for new loan requests, prepare credit packages including a narrative, assess the 5 Cs of Credit, and present findings to the loan committee. Monitor servicing accounts for covenant compliance, ensure internal controls, and support independent, timely completion of assignments. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics (or equivalent experience) and at least 3 years of credit/financial analysis experience. Proficient in Excel with strong written and verbal communication skills, GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Hybrid work schedule with up to 2 days remote per week after achieving independence and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of credit of financial analysis experience
- Robust understanding of personal and business financial statements, 5Cs of Credit, loan structures, and GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
