Job Summary
Spread financial statements and tax returns, identifying inconsistencies and inaccuracies. Draft commercial credit write-ups in standard format, preparing summaries of facts for new, renewal, and extension loans based on Loan Officer input. Maintain the statement tracking system, prepare reports for exceptions, credit quality, and past due loans, and input loan grading changes accurately and timely. Assist in annual credit reviews and prepare various financial information letters. Adhere to all bank policies and regulations to minimize risk while maintaining confidentiality of customer information. Complete required job-specific training and exercise judgment to raise questions to management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Minimum of three years of commercial loan and/or financial analysis experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned job functions to minimize risk
- Ability to exercise judgement, raise questions to management and adhere to policy guidelines
- Approach co-workers positively and provide support
- Must maintain confidentiality of customer information both inside and outside the bank
- Completes all required job-specific training
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently
- Must have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, view a computer terminal, read extensively
