Job Summary
Credit Analyst in North Aurora, IL responsible for analyzing financial statements and other factors to assess creditworthiness of commercial requests, presenting findings in concise written reports focused on cash flow and repayment ability, evaluating collateral and loan structure, and performing ongoing reviews of existing borrowers. Requires five+ years of Credit Analyst experience, strong financial analysis and reporting skills, ability to prepare credit presentations, stress tests, financial projections, and to communicate recommendations to loan committees. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, with thorough knowledge of lending regulations and strong analytical, organizational, and software skills (Excel/word processing) to support accurate, well-documented lending decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience as a Credit Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of current lending and loan review regulations and banking regulations, procedures, and operations
- Proficient ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
