Job Summary
Credit Analyst role in Calgary, AB focused on managing credit and collections, account reconciliations, cash applications, and treasury-related tasks within an industrial equipment/manufacturing context. Responsibilities include collections for strategic and overdue accounts, resolving payment disputes, reconciling accounts, setting up new customer accounts, processing payments (cash, ACH, wire), and supporting cross-functional teams (Sales Operations, Customer Service, Order Entry). Requires strong Excel and SAP experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple priorities in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. In-office to start with potential for hybrid flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Credit, Collections, Finance, or a similar analytical role
- Strong multitasking abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments (must-have)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while wearing multiple hats (must-have)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset (must-have)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, reporting)
- Experience working with SAP is strongly preferred
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of account reconciliations and collections processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams
- Bilingual skills are considered an asset
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, or competitor environments is considered a strong asset
