Job Summary
Lead ratings analysis and research on complex structured corporate, digital infrastructure and project finance transactions within Fitch's Complex Credits Group in North America; drive development of rating approaches and criteria, evaluate innovative credit structures, and produce credit reports. Responsible for gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and legal documents, coordinating with other Fitch groups to ensure analytical consistency, and representing Fitch at industry conferences, webinars, issuer meetings, and site visits. Mentor junior team members and build external relationships to sustain Fitch's analytical reputation. Role emphasizes leadership in cutting-edge infrastructure and project finance ratings, with primary focus on North America and global exposure, requiring strong communication, analytical, and project-management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree at minimum
- 10+ years relevant experience in capital markets and/or credit analysis
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to shift between multiple projects as priorities change
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
