Job Summary
Credit Analyst role within the Credit & Fixed Income team at Perpetual Group, Sydney-based with the option to work remotely within Australia for up to one month each year. You will support Portfolio Managers with credit analysis across corporate issuers, domestically and offshore, focusing on credit quality, forming investment views and communicating insights that inform portfolio decisions. Responsibilities include researching and writing credit reviews with recommendations on portfolio suitability, conducting regular updates of credit opinions, preparing briefs on issuers and sector themes, sharing insights with portfolio managers on risks and developments, analyzing financial statements and ratings reports, attending issuer briefings, and supporting oversight of credit risk. The role requires 3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis, a degree in finance/economics/accounting or related discipline, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel; exposure to fixed income or multi-asset databases is beneficial.
