Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of client data to understand credit exposure, liability, and cash flow modelling. Undertake key research of client business, industries, and legislation to derive insights from credit analyses. Engage in scenario analysis and stress-testing to evaluate potential and actual risks, while assessing credit structures and proposing solutions. Present findings and recommendations to line management and the credit committee. Advise junior team members on client credit reviews and maintain strong business relationships to gather relevant information. Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, and governance requirements while reviewing processes to drive efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in credit risk analysis
- Ability to conduct comprehensive financial analysis of client data
- Proficiency in cash flow modelling
- Ability to perform sensitivity analysis
- Knowledge of industry and legislative developments
- Ability to assess credit structures and propose solutions
- Experience in scenario analysis and stress-testing
- Ability to present findings and insights to line management and/or credit committee
- Ability to provide recommendations based on analysis
- Experience advising junior team members on client credit reviews
- Ability to identify risks and provide expertise and guidance
- Knowledge of statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements
- Ability to review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes
- Ability to manage expectations and create buy-in
