Job Summary
Credit Analyst responsibilities include researching and evaluating potential customers’ credit worthiness, managing an assigned receivables portfolio with collections and payment arrangements, evaluating commercial project information for risk, monitoring lien and bond claims, reviewing account balances to determine credit-hold processing, handling customer inquiries professionally, setting up customer accounts in the ERP system, and communicating delinquent issues with territory managers to create corrective action. The role also involves participating in local credit industry groups and occasional travel to branches or customers; requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of credit/accounting/collections experience, with proficiency in PC use and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field preferred
- Three years of credit, accounting, collections, customer service, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency using a PC
