Credit Analyst III

Job Summary
Analyze complex commercial loan requests exceeding $500M in total commitments, evaluating client financial information including balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns to calculate risk ratings and recommend industry-standard loan covenants. Develop and maintain submission standards for the commercial credit underwriting department while managing the bank-wide credit queue to ensure timely completion. Prepare credit presentations for bank-wide approval processes and document exceptions to loan policy, utilizing the Lending Cloud platform for data analysis. Provide guidance and mentorship to loan officer staff and credit analyst colleagues, fostering constructive interactions with internal and external clients. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other applicable majors
- 4-6 years' experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst, or comparable role
Desired Qualifications
- experience using Moody's Lending Cloud
- excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- strong financial and analytical skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
