Job Summary
Partner with Portfolio Managers on credit underwriting, drafting documentation, and preparing for credit reviews with limited oversight. Execute the full underwriting process, including running Probability of Default models, assessing covenant compliance, and updating financial calculations. Identify risks by monitoring tickler events, analyzing spreads, and recommending portfolio management actions using Credit Service reporting and RADAR. Complete indicative credit information in banking systems, prepare ALSR reports, and create CAMs with minimal errors. Resolve deficiencies and escalate disputes as needed while supporting special projects and new employee training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting)
- 2+ years of Commercial Banking credit analysis experience
- Sound Financial and risk analysis understanding
- ability to develop financial models
- Extensive Knowledge of banking products and services
- Knowledge of corporate business structure and legal documents
- General knowledge of U.S. government and regulation
- Proficiency in internal banking applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in using effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
