Job Summary
Credit Analyst II at Blue Sky Bank in Tulsa, OK. Responsible for evaluating borrower financials, assessing risk, and supporting lending decisions to maintain a strong, compliant loan portfolio. Partners with lending staff to support credit underwriting, conducts comprehensive financial and risk analysis, prepares detailed credit memorandums, analyzes financial statements and cash flows, evaluates loan collateral and risk factors, monitors post-approval covenants and renewals, provides industry comparisons to strengthen risk assessments, and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of credit analysis/underwriting experience, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a proactive, positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other business-related fields or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of credit analysis/underwriting experience
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge and understanding of credit analysis/underwriting
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, concise recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities
- A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to excellence
