Job Summary
Analyze loan data for new, renewal, and existing loans using historical financial analysis and cash flow projections. Prepare memos, spreadsheets, reports, and opinions for Loan Officers within established deadlines. Manage the bank's exposure to identified risks and recommend transaction structures according to credit policy. Establish and update loan files, notify Loan Officers of potential problems, and provide technical advice. Generate solutions to problems and contribute to Bank-wide projects. Focus on relationships ranging from $500,000 to $2,000,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1- 4 years banking industry experience
- Six months experience with credit systems
- Knowledge of accounting sufficient to understand and analyze the relationships between the different financial statements, in order to produce a written analysis
- Strong financial analytical abilities, with knowledge of financial ratios
- Strong Excel skills
- Good interpersonal, technical, problem solving, and written communication skills
- Ability to adhere to all company policies, core values and procedures
- Genuine interest in learning and working in the banking profession
- Dresses professionally
