Job Summary
Underwrite and analyze consumer and less complex commercial loan requests while managing file exceptions, past dues, and covenant tracking. Coordinate credit processing stages from client outreach and document collection through application, approval, closing, and onboarding. Facilitate renewals, modifications, and annual reviews to maintain relationship quality and identify new lending opportunities within existing client relationships. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure adherence across all credit functions. This role supports the Profit Center by identifying revenue-generating opportunities across loans, deposits, and investment assets for First Western Trust in Boulder, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in lending, credit administration, and/or banking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
- Experience using banking and credit software
- Experience with CRM systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- High initiative and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- NMLS registration upon hire
