Job Summary
Credit Analyst (Commercial Banking) analyzes financial statements and borrower creditworthiness, underwrites loans, and prepares credit approval packages across Commercial Real Estate, Construction & Development, and C&I lending. Supports multiple deals concurrently, partners with Credit Managers to refine deal structure and mitigate risk, ensures completeness and accuracy of credit files, and utilizes systems (e.g., nCino) to input and manage deal data. In-office role in Dallas, Austin, or Houston with limited remote flexibility; responsible for maintaining pipeline quality, delivering timely analyses, and contributing to loan growth and credit quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1–5+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Understanding of commercial lending structures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
