Job Summary
Credit Analyst at a South Dakota bank partner: Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and other data to assess creditworthiness of new and existing borrowers. Prepare comprehensive written presentations to assist lenders and Credit Administration in credit decisions. Monitor loan portfolio, past-due loans, and annual reviews; track financial information and alert lenders to irregularities. Stay current on industry trends related to the loan portfolio. Collaborate with lending and Credit Administration on ongoing projects and presentations to the loan committee. Participate in professional development to stay updated on industry trends. Travel as needed. Requires Bachelor's in Accounting or related field or 3-5 years of experience; strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in Outlook/Word/Excel, and solid written/verbal communication. Knowledge of banking laws and regulations is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of related work experience in business, finance, or accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and ability to analyze creditworthiness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Basic understanding of banking laws, rules, and regulations
