Credentialing & VOB/Authorizations Specialist ABA

Credentialing & VOB/Authorizations Specialist supports credentialing, benefits verification, and prior authorization workflows for ABA services in a fully remote healthcare practice. Responsibilities include managing provider credentialing and recredentialing with commercial payers and Medicaid MCOs (CAQH maintenance, revalidations, roster updates), verifying patient benefits (deductibles, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums, ABA coverage), submitting and tracking initial and renewal prior authorizations, monitoring authorization expirations and coordinating renewals, maintaining payer/provider/authorization records, communicating with payers to resolve delays and discrepancies, and collaborating with billing and intake teams to resolve coverage issues early. Preferred qualifications include ABA or behavioral health experience, familiarity with New Jersey payers, EMR/practice management systems, and knowledge of ABA service authorization CPT codes (97151, 97155, 97156).
