Job Summary
Credentialing Specialists will provide credentialing services to operate IRS credentialing sites using the GSA scheduling tool. Responsibilities include managing daily appointments, issuing identification cards, maintaining card inventory, performing PIV/Smart ID activations, and conducting communications regarding credential status. The position requires travel nationwide up to 40% of annual work hours, and short-term shiftwork on nights and weekends may be needed. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of credentialing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to complete required online credentialing training and maintain compliance with PIV-II SmartID credential requirements.
- Experience with or ability to complete USAccess Registrar and Activator training or a comparable credentialing program.
- Knowledge of ICAM and USAccess credentialing processes, including enrollment, activation, and verification procedures.
- Knowledge of credentialing hardware such as FCUs, MCUs, and LAKs.
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide to support onsite credentialing operations as mission needs require.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
