Job Summary
Review and process applications for provider privileges, analyzing credentialing files for completeness, accuracy, and necessary changes. Respond to provider inquiries via letter, phone, or internal departments while administering re-credentialing for Physicians and CRNAs. Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA regulations and meet stringent deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Assist with special projects and process redesign initiatives as requested.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in provider credentialing
- Previous experience with provider credentialing/enrollment software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in various organizations
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Possess strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
