Credentialing Specialist, Marshall Medical Centers South, Full Time, 1st Shift

Conduct all credentialing functions and provider enrollment for the Medical Staff and other practitioners as directed. Obtain primary source verification of licenses, education, training, affiliations, and other verifications while maintaining physician, CRNP, and PA credentialing files. Manage credentialing software, the CPSI physician database, and other Medical Staff Services databases. Provide direction to the Medical Staff Secretary regarding credentialing and recredentialing questions, assist with new provider orientation, and facilitate provider enrollment for all practitioners. Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and follow up as needed, including processing student observers and precepting students.
