Job Summary
Review, collect, and process initial and recredentialing applications for providers, dental offices, and internal departments in accordance with NCQA, URAC, and company policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for credentialing inquiries, communicating documentation needs via phone, email, and fax. Coordinate with Credentialing Verification Organizations and CAQH, while maintaining accurate records within credentialing databases. Monitor provider status updates, expiration dates, and credentialing reports to meet established production and quality standards. Research and resolve credentialing-related issues to ensure compliance and timely turnaround. This fully remote position requires candidates to reside in Oklahoma or Florida, with a base salary of $21.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a dental, healthcare, managed care, customer service, or related environment
- Healthcare or dental industry experience
- Credentialing experience
- Health plan credentialing
- Dental office credentialing
- Processing credentialing and recredentialing applications
- Experience with NCQA, URAC, state, and federal credentialing regulations and guidelines
- Previous network management experience in a dental environment
- Strong data entry, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a production-focused environment
- Ability to research issues, identify solutions, and follow through to resolution
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Detail-oriented
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Credentialing experience within a health plan or dental setting
- Must reside in Oklahoma or Florida
- This is a fully remote position
