Job Summary
Credentialing Coordinator at Jewish Hospital’s Medical Staff Office oversees credentialing applications for medical staff and allied health professionals, ensuring completeness per hospital bylaws and Joint Commission standards; maintains system records to identify medical staff and clinical privileges, processes initial and reappointment applications, ensures DEAs, malpractice insurance, and Kentucky licenses are current, and provides temporary medical staff privileges as needed. Requires high school diploma/GED (associate degree preferred), 2 years in a medical staff office, and CPMSN/CPCS or eligibility within 3 years. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Associate degree in business or a related field (preferred)
- 2 years’ experience in a medical staff office setting (required)
- CPMSN and CPCS credential or eligibility within 3 years from date of hire
- DEA licensing and malpractice insurance current per bylaws and Joint Commission standards

- Ability to manage credentialing applications and reappointment processes
