Credentialing Assistant

Job Summary
Review and re-attest all providers' CAQH profiles, maintaining billing and provider insurance grids up to date on current insurance changes. Update CAQH provider profiles, monitor payer credentialing status for new providers, and manage all relevant rosters. Establish good working relationships with physicians, providers, licensing agencies, insurance payors, and the public while adhering to established policies and procedures. Assist the Credentialing Supervisor and Credentialing Specialist in job responsibilities as needed. Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, providers, licensing agencies, insurance payors, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Minimum of three to four years of experience in healthcare
Desired Qualifications
- Some knowledge of insurance billing and hospital credentialing is a plus
- Knowledge of the credentialing process is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of credentialing timelines and regulations is a plus but not required
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred
