Job Summary
Lead the contract lifecycle for Advanced Pain Care by developing, negotiating and maintaining payer contracts; manage the credentialing team and coordinate with sales and internal departments to inform staff of contract changes, medical and billing policy updates, and new payer requirements. Drive growth with payers by expanding services and identifying opportunities within existing contracts. Oversee pre-contract through post-signature processes, ensure regulatory compliance, analyze cost and utilization data, and maintain accurate contract documentation and timely notifications of critical events. Maintain provider relationships, evaluate fee schedules annually, and communicate contractual terms to the billing department while supporting contracting administration and related projects. Requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, plus experience in healthcare contracting and provider partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant contracting experience in hospital/clinic/ambulatory surgery center/physician/health system contracting
- Strong contract negotiation skills
- Knowledge of healthcare industry, legal and regulatory requirements
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with initiative
- Experience with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience working at or with medical insurance companies, MSOs, IPAs, or TPAs preferred
