Job Summary
Direct work flow on the hospital floor while mentoring technicians and conducting staff meetings to foster an engaging culture. Resolve conflicts professionally, refine and implement protocols, and ensure VCA policies are followed by all technical staff. Assist with the interview process for new hires, onboard associates, and support their educational development and skill progression. Work cohesively with management and supervisory teams to aid hospital progression. Schedule includes full-time evening and Saturday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT (FL CVT Preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Team leadership experience
- Passion for Veterinary Medicine
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Vet Technician license reimbursement
