Job Summary
Induce and monitor anesthesia, perform dental radiographs, administer medications, and manage hospitalized patients while practicing to the full capacity of your Maryland RVT license. Collect clinical samples, assist in surgical prep and recovery, conduct in-house lab testing, and provide compassionate client education on treatments and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records, follow OSHA and COMAR regulations, and mentor support staff in this busy, high-performing 5-doctor practice. Full-time role with competitive hourly rate of $23–$30, including health insurance, 401(k), and scrub allowance. Located in Essex, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- Current Maryland RVT license
- Active RVT license from another state with a commitment to obtain Maryland licensure within 6 months of hire
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical veterinary setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in surgical assistance
- Demonstrated proficiency in dental prophylaxis
- Demonstrated proficiency in radiology
- Passion for veterinary medicine

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting without compromising care
- Ability to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs frequently
