Job Summary
Assist and deliver patient care duties under the supervision of the provider or practice manager, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information in patients' charts. Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and perform miscellaneous delegated duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of care. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety precautions while utilizing electronic medical records where applicable. This role offers incentives for physician office positions in Miamisburg and requires current certification as a Medical Assistant or a valid Ohio LPN license. Applicants must complete required training or credentialing within 15 months of hire. Required Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification/registration as CCMA, CMA (AAMA), NCMA, RMA (through AMT) or completion of KHMG Medical Assistant Training Program or MA program through an accredited institution of higher learning and successful attainment of certification/registration within 15 months of hire
- Current Ohio license
- At least 6 months of direct patient care experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year clinical experience in a medical/physician office setting
- Practical knowledge in the following areas: examination process, diagnostic and treatment room procedures, medical equipment and instruments, safety hazards and precautions, confidentiality/discretion
- Experience with use of electronic medical records
