Job Summary
Hybrid Creature/Character Modeller role based in London. You’ll build and finalize photo-real creature and human characters with clean topology and UVs, sculpt displacement maps, and create FACS-based facial shapes that integrate into the pipeline. Collaborate with Rigging, CFX, and Animation, contribute to workflows, and document processes. A portfolio showing relevant work is required. Must have experience with Maya, ZBrush, Mush 3D, Wrap 3D; shot-sculpting; and an understanding of anatomy for humans and creatures. Office in Old Street with hybrid schedule (minimum 2 days in the studio). Must hold a current work permit for the region; sponsorship details to be disclosed if needed. Required Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating quality and ability to build photo-real Creature/Character models
- Experience in Maya, ZBrush, Mush 3D, Wrap 3D
- Experience in Shotsculpting
- Understanding of topology and UV workflows
- Ability to create displacement maps for characters/creatures
- Experience with LODs and technical meshes for creatures
- Knowledge of anatomy for humans and creatures; FACS-based facial shapes
- Familiarity with rigging, CFX and Animation requirements
- Ability to work with downstream departments (Rigging, CFX, Animation) and document workflows
- Current work permit for the region; disclosure if sponsorship is needed
