Job Summary
Leading and managing a team of writers to produce accurate, persuasive legal writing samples; reviewing, editing, and QA of immigration-related materials; coordinating with management and operations to improve workflow and meet deadlines; ensuring high-quality, clear, compliant documents through collaboration with attorneys and intake; fluency in English and Spanish; strong proofreading, editing, and communication skills; MS Office proficiency and ability to type at least 50 WPM; bachelor’s degree in English or related field; 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule with occasional Saturdays; remote not indicated; Houston, TX-based role within a recognized immigration law firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field
- Preferred but not required, 6 months or more of related experience in an office environment
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant data tools
- Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to type 50 WPM or more
- English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Proper phone etiquette
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Grammarly Checker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and process orientation
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Relationship building and influencing skills

- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in English or related field
