Job Summary
Own Arketa's content engine by concepting, shooting, directing, and editing video across paid advertising, founder storytelling, and studio partner features. Plan and produce long-form brand content, cover live events and pop-ups, and build lightweight systems for asset management. Work end-to-end from brief to final delivery, managing logistics and external freelancers while establishing a raw footage library. You will run the founder content series independently and define how creative gets made at the company. This build-from-zero role requires full ownership of the production workflow and a storyteller's instinct to drive performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years in video production or creative production
- hands-on experience across the full stack: shooting, lighting, directing, and editing
- Strong portfolio with range — short-form social, brand storytelling, and/or ad creative
- a portfolio is required
- Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent
- ability to move from shoot to final cut independently
- Experience shooting and directing non-professional talent (founders, instructors, real people) on camera
- Comfortable being the only full-time production person
- Experience managing or briefing external freelancers and holding a high quality bar
- Highly organized and autonomous
- ability to ship without close supervision

- Motion graphics or light animation skills
- Experience with AI-assisted editing workflows
