Job Summary
The Creative Program Facilitator at Girl Scouts of Central Texas enhances campers' experiences through the implementation of creative, artistic, craft and fine arts activities. This seasonal role requires managing programming supplies, assisting unit staff, and participating enthusiastically in camp activities while ensuring safety and quality programming.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2026
- Extensive knowledge of arts and crafts
- Exhibits good judgment and risk management assessment skills
- Ability to work with, communicate with and teach children ages six through seventeen
- Must reside on camp property during summer
- Ability to make a commitment to the philosophy of Girl Scouting
- Satisfactory results from a criminal background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Training in Girl Scout outdoor programs, camp counseling, leadership, and training techniques
- High Ropes Facilitator Training
- First aid training
- Fluent in Spanish and English
