Job Summary

Lead CIAT's creative team to develop brand assets across digital and print, ensure consistency and quality of outputs (branding, web and graphic design, video content), collaborate with marketing to concept and execute integrated campaigns, manage and prioritize creative requests, develop workflows and tracking, mentor direct reports, contribute hands-on design and video work, oversee website/landing page optimization for UX and conversions, support paid media and CRO efforts, manage external vendors, and ensure compliance with federal/state accreditation and institutional policies while upholding CIAT’s mission and values.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in creative, design, or marketing roles
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across graphic design, web design, and video content
  • Proficiency in design and video tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with video editing
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and marketing/project management tools
  • Ability to balance hands-on creative work with team leadership and project delegation
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and user experience principles
  • Experience supporting performance marketing efforts with understanding of how creative impacts engagement and conversion
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours when necessary
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, academic departments, and administration to support student success
  • Exhibits flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
  • Occasional travel to support events
  • Confidential handling of sensitive information
