Job Summary
Creative Content Specialist responsible for shaping CHCPBC communications and making regulatory work human and engaging. Leads external content across social media, newsletters, website, and public awareness campaigns; owns CHCPBC’s social media strategy, plans content, and tracks performance. Produces internal and external content including staff updates, short-form videos, podcasts, blog posts, and creative campaigns; ensures content is consistent, credible, and aligned with strategic objectives and brand/style guidelines. Translates complex regulatory language into plain, accessible messaging; collaborates with communications staff to write and distribute electronic communications; supports People and Culture by triaging inquiries and routine communications requests. Applies principles of digital accessibility and leverages tools such as AI, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and WordPress; experience with email marketing and content management systems; values diversity, inclusion, reconciliation, and culturally safe communication. Must be capable of working in a hybrid/remote environment within British Columbia and contributing to a team culture focused on quality and public protection.
