Job Summary
Research trends, fabrics, and silhouettes to inspire new bridal and occasion collections. Prepare technical sketches, update tech packs, and collaborate on sample development with necessary design adjustments. Source fabrics, embellishments, and production materials while maintaining organized inventory and coordinating with suppliers. Attend design fittings, make adjustments based on feedback, and conduct quality checks on prototypes and final products. Assist in curating digital content to showcase brand designs. Maintain organized design files, schedule meetings, and prepare presentations for client consultations. Work closely with designers, pattern-makers, and production teams to ensure seamless collection execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion trends
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for fashion, creativity, and attention to detail
